SF Bay Area ACBS Presents a Free Workshop on Private Practice Taxes by Heard

Tax season is fast approaching, and as a private practice therapist, it may feel like your finances are looming over your head. Heard is here to help! Join Andrew Riesen, founder of Heard for a masterclass focused on preparing for tax season and improving the financial health of your therapy practice. Youll learn the basics around filing your taxes, business entities, and tax designations while gaining confidence in the financial aspects of your business.

In this session, we'll cover:

  • How to prepare thoroughly for tax season and quarterly tax deadlines so you don't miss tax deductions
  • How to better understand different kinds of business structures
  • How to manage the financial aspects of your practice with confidence
Please bring all your tax season questions and concerns! No question is too small or insignificant. We've created this time for you as a therapist to feel supported and heard on your financial journey.

About HeardHeard is a complete financial management service that combines software and CPAs to manage accounting, payroll, and taxes for therapists. We work solely with mental health providers like you to help track your income and expenses, file taxes online, and ultimately grow your business.

About the Host: Andrew Riesen is a mission-driven entrepreneur, financial accountant and the CEO of Heard, the financial back-office for therapists in private practice. Prior to Heard, Andrew worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked as a financial accountant, helped build an internal software incubator, and co-founded an affordable sales tax solution for small to medium sized businesses.

When not supporting mental health professionals in private practice, Andrew can be found exploring the nooks and crannies of the Pacific Northwest trail-running, cycling or snowboarding, or at home with his nose in a book or journal.

*Please note that SF Bay Area ACBS has no affiliation with Heard nor can we speak to their services. We are supporting the promotion of this free workshop as a resource for those who are interested and there are no financial relationships between SF Bay Area ACBS and Heard.
